# Your data

> What Tamo keeps about you, how long, where you can see it, and how to delete it.

Web page: https://heytamo.com/docs/your-data/

Your memories, conversation, routines, keys, files, tools and activity are kept apart from
everyone else's. Nobody else's Tamo can reach them.

## What's kept, and for how long

| What | Kept |
| --- | --- |
| Memories | Until you or Tamo delete them |
| Your conversation with Tamo | With your account, so Tamo can pick up where you left off |
| Files you send | Until removed |
| Photos you send | 30 days |
| Voice messages | Only the text Tamo heard; the recording isn't kept |
| API keys | Encrypted, until you delete them. Never shown again, to anyone. |
| Activity (what Tamo did) | 30 days |
| Browser logins | In your own Tamo browser, until you sign out there or ask Tamo to |

## Seeing and deleting it

- Ask Tamo what it knows about you, or tell it to forget something.
- The [dashboard](https://heytamo.com/docs/dashboard/) shows your memories, routines, trusted sites, keys,
connections and activity, and lets you delete each of them.
- `/tasks`, `/secrets` and `/tools` delete from the chat.

There's no button yet to delete everything at once. Email
[hello@heytamo.com](mailto:hello@heytamo.com) with your Telegram username, and all of it
is deleted.

## Passwords

Tamo never sees your passwords: you type them yourself into its browser
([how](https://heytamo.com/docs/browser/#when-a-site-wants-your-password)), and keys go into a
[private form](https://heytamo.com/docs/keys/).

Who else handles your data, and your rights over it, are in the [privacy policy](https://heytamo.com/privacy/).
