# Commands and limits

> Tamo's Telegram commands, what it can read, and the limits that keep it quick for everyone, like 30 tasks an hour and 20 MB files.

You mostly just talk to Tamo. A few commands are handy too, and they're in the menu next to
the message box.

## Commands

| Command | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `/stop` | Stops what Tamo is doing now, and anything running in its terminal. |
| `/tasks` | Your reminders, watches, follow-ups and check-ins, with buttons to pause, resume or delete. |
| `/secrets` | The [API keys](https://heytamo.com/docs/keys/) you've given Tamo, with delete buttons. Values are never shown. |
| `/tools` | Tools Tamo made for you and services you've [connected](https://heytamo.com/docs/connectors/), with buttons to remove them. |
| `/dashboard` | Opens the [dashboard](https://heytamo.com/docs/dashboard/) inside Telegram. |

## Tools Tamo makes

When Tamo does something for you that it'll need again, like reading your electricity bill
from the provider's site, it can save a small tool for it, so it's quicker and more
reliable next time. `/tools` lists them, with what sites each one uses and when it was last
used. You can delete any of them.

## What Tamo can read

Text, photos, files and voice messages. Videos, stickers, audio files and round video
messages aren't supported yet. Details on [photos, files and voice](https://heytamo.com/docs/photos-files-voice/).

| Tasks at once | One at a time. Up to 3 more messages wait in line. |
| How long a task runs | Up to 30 minutes. A long task tells you how it's going and asks whether to keep trying. |
| Daily use | There's a daily limit too. If you reach it, Tamo says so and is back in a few hours. |
| Files and photos | Up to 20 MB each |
| Voice messages | Up to 5 minutes |
| Photos kept | 30 days |
| Reminders, watches, follow-ups and check-ins | 50 at once, active or paused |
| Watches | 1 to 5 sites each, checked as often as every 15 minutes (every hour for most shops) |
| Background jobs in the terminal | 3 at once, up to an hour each |
| Connected services | 10 |
| Tools Tamo makes | 50 |
| Memories saved by connected AI apps | 50 a day, all apps together |

Over a limit, Tamo tells you in plain words, for example: "That's a lot of messages in a
short time. Give me a little while, then send it again."
